Camp Barakel

Recently Vince, Aaron (our cousin), Dad, and I went to Camp Barakel. We arrived on Friday evening. The next morning, we went to breakfast.  While there, we signed up for an activity called Human Ice Bowling, along with some other campers. In Human Ice Bowling, you put somebody on a saucer, Vince was the "somebody" for our team, then push them into bowling pins.  There are 8 teams and whoever has the highest score wins.
After that, we headed over to go skiing.  I went with Aaron and Vince went with Dad, because after we started going, Vince  had a problem.  His skies were too big, so he couldn't go fast enough.  Of course, Aaron, Dad, and I got ahead of Vince, because our skis fit.  When Aaron and I got tired of the beginner trails, we went to the intermediate level, while Dad stayed with Vince.  We soon came to a big hill.  Of course we had to try it!  The first time I went down the hill, I wiped out.  The second time, I did the same thing.  The third time, Aaron was waiting at the bottom to take my picture when I fell.  But that time I staid up! We went down two more times and I didn't fall again.
After all that exercise, we needed to hear a refreshing sermon!  So, we went to chapel.  After chapel, Vince, Aaron, and I signed up for the game room tournament, then all of us headed off for the human ice bolling! To make a long story short, our team ended up getting 2 strikes and 3 spares.  Later, the camp was handing out awards.  They announced the two top team's scores.  They were 86 and 87.  We had won!
We headed over to the game room to practice for the tournament.  In the tournament, we ended up winning two games and loosing two games.  In the end, we tied for second, with five other teams!
Over all, we grew closer to God and each other while having a lot of fun.
